Restraint, Arrest, and Control

Statistics show that suspects who violently assault an officer is most likely to do so when an officer is attempting to take the suspect into custody.  Such highly perishable skills require constant training under stress to remain sharp and effective in the field.

Krav Maga's approach to arrest and control is simple and effective. By minimizing complexity and focusing on gross motor movements, restraint techniques are easily remembered and utilized under stress. This four-hour training seminar will give officers the skills they need to increase awareness of potential threats, remain safe while taking a suspect into custody, and transition from various force options into their agencies' restraint/control procedures.

Areas of training covered during this seminar include:
- Safe, effective, and efficient searching procedures
-Escorting of potential suspects
-Arrest/handcuffing from standing, kneeling, prone, and specialized situations (close-quarters, etc)
-Transitioning from various force options into arrest procedures

Attendees are required to bring their duty holster and training weapon. Upon completion of the seminar all attendees will receive a certificate of completion.
