Kettlebell Fundamentals with Geoff Blake

In the world of functional fitness, there are few tools that can provide the range of fitness benefits as the kettlebell. During these semi-private training sessions, participants will perfect kettlebell exercises and learn to safely pursue kettlebell training. These sessions will open up a world of new training approaches resulting in new levels of strength, conditioning and explosiveness.

Krav Maga Maryland - Owings Mills Fitness Instructor Geoff Blake will be teaching two eight week courses.

Dates/Times:
Mondays, February 2-March 22, 2010 from 6:30-7:30 pm
Wednesdays, March 3-April 21, 2010 from 7:30-8:30 pm

Members: $89
Non-members: $114

These courses will cover the same curriculum regardless of the different training times.  Class sizes are limited to 4 participants.

 What is a kettlebell?
A kettlebell is a traditional Russian training tool that has been used since the turn of the century to develop full body conditioning and fitness. It has the appearance of a cannon ball with a handle.  Due to it's simple shape, the list of exercises possible with a kettlebell is only limited by your creativity and environment.  Some of the benefits of KB training include:
