![]() Survival Is Never Enough Krav Maga was originally developed as the self-defense system for the Israeli Defense Forces, and since it's introduction in the United States in 1981 over 400 law enforcement agencies around the country have adopted Krav Maga into their defensive tactics curriculums. Law Enforcement Training ![]() In today's world, officers need every tool possible to help them survive on the street. Our goal is to give officers practical defensive tactics training that can be easily applied in accordance with departmental use of force policies. In conjunction with the Krav Maga Worldwide Force Training Division, the Krav Maga Maryland Tactical Division offers a defensive tactics system that protects law enforcement officers from harm while protecting law enforcement agencies from liability. Krav Maga Maryland's Tactical Division offers four main types of training: -We offer end-user law enforcement seminars dealing with a wide range of topics, including personal weapons (combatives), self-defense, arrest/control, defenses against handgun threats, defenses against long-gun threats, weapon retention, and more. These seminars are generally four hours in length and are open to all sworn peace officers. To view a list of upcoming seminars, click here. -We also are equipped to provide customized training courses. Our training modules can be scaled to fit any size unit, any training schedule, and any location. For more information or to schedule your agency for training, please contact the Chief Instructor of the Tactical Division at 410-872-9194 or by email at

. -Krav Maga Maryland also hosts instructor certification courses at our Columbia training center through Krav Maga Worldwide's Force Training Division. These courses allow agency instructors to incorporate Krav Maga into whatever defensive tactics system that is currently in use. These classes teach the same personal weapons (combatives), strikes, self-defense and weapon defenses that we teach law enforcement personnel, but without the use of force, liability issues, higher force options and arrest/control procedures that we train with officers. These classes make for high-intensity review of techniques on an ongoing basis as an individual's availabilty allows. Click here to access the class schedule of the training facility nearest you.
