Jeff Mount - Director of Operations, Krav Maga Maryland

Jeff Mount With over 20 years of martial arts training experience and 10 years of instructional experience, Jeff brings a well-rounded background to his position as Director of Operations with Krav Maga Maryland.  One of only a handful of Krav Maga black belts on the east coast, Jeff is also currently training to complete Krav Maga Worldwide's "Train the Trainer" program, designed to teach instructor certification courses.

In recent years, Jeff completed his Advanced Force Training certification with Krav Maga WorldWide's Force Training Division.  Since then he has trained law enforcement officers from over 32 agencies including Baltimore County Police Department, Baltimore City Police Department, NSA Police, Pentagon Police, Howard County Police Department, Maryland State Police, Federal Bureau of Investigations, United States Secret Service, United States Capitol Police, Washington County Police Department, United States Marshal Service,  and Air Force Office of Special Investigations. Jeff has also conducted pre-deployment training for military and civilian personnelheaded overseas.

Jeff spent his childhood training in Korean styles of martial arts, attaining a 3rd Dan black belt and teaching all types of students.  Later he began training in kickboxing, boxing, and Muay Thai.  For the past 5 years he has dedicated his focus primarily to Krav Maga. 

Jeff completed his B.A. in Ancient Studies with a concentration in philosophy at University of Maryland, Baltimore County.  He also has completed graduate courses at the Ecumenical Institute of Theology at St. Mary's Seminary and University in Baltimore.  Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Jeff currently resides in Owings Mills. 

Chris Chew

Chris ChewChris is a Phase A certified instructor with Krav Maga Maryland.  He began his training in 2007 after hearing about its practicality and witnessing it first hand in an intro class.  Before beginning his training, Chris regularly participated in traditional sports including basketball, baseball, football, and tennis. 

Graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in Accounting and a B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice, Chris currently works for the Department of Justice.

Originally from Silver Spring, Maryland, Chris currently resides in Fulton, Maryland.

Jeff Chiu

Jeff ChiuJeff is a certified Phase C instructor with Krav Maga Maryland. He began his training in Krav Maga after attending an open-house and witnessing the practicality and street-tested efficiency of the self-defense system. 

Jeff graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park.  After working at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, Jeff recently decided to return to school to the University of Maryland pursue a career in physical therapy.

Jeff resides in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Matt Ketteringham

Matt KetteringhamMatt is a certified Phase C instructor with Krav Maga Maryland.  He has more than 15 years of martial arts experience holding a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, an Orange belt in Tomiki Aikido and has trained in Brazilian Jujitsu.  Additionally, Matt has extensive self-defense teaching experience serving as a Tae Kwon Do instructor for 14 years to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Matt holds numerous certifications and has specialized training in areas such as safety awareness/training and mechanical/electrical architecture.  Matt has also received training from the United States Air Force in morale, welfare, recreation and services.

Originally from South Vietnam, Matt currently resides in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

Rahsaan Kimbrow

Rahsaan Kimbrow, as both a veteran martial artist and a diverse personal trainer, is a newer instructor to the Krav Maga Maryland family. Rahsaan is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, a USA Weightlifting Club Coach, a Certified CrossFit Trainer and Certified San Shou Instructor. Recently he has developed programs specializing in Strength and Conditioning emphasizing Speed and Agility for Combat Sports, Team Sports, and programs designed for general health, wellness and improved body composition.

Jeff Marcus

Jeff MarcusJeff is a certified Phase C instructor with Krav Maga Maryland beginning his training in July of 2006.  In addition to his self-defense training and instructing, Jeff has also compiled many accolades as a baseball pitcher.  He pitched on the division I level for Middle Tennessee State University which in 2001, was the Sun Belt Conference Champions and finished the season ranked 17th in the nation.

A graduate of Towson University, Jeff holds a degree in Business Management.  He has worked for Approved Promotions conducting on-site marketing, and was named President/CEO of Synergy Promotion LLC continuing his career in promotions/marketing.  In 2008, Jeff began a career in federal law enforcement, and currently works in Washington D.C. in that capacity.  He looks forward to continue sharing the real-world effectiveness of Krav Maga with his fellow officers.

Originally from Gaithersburg, Maryland, Jeff currently resides in Columbia, Maryland.

 Jack Morley

Jack has been with Krav Maga Maryland for two years and is a certified Phase B instructor. He also has over 15 years experience of teaching martial arts to both youth and adults. Jack's background includes kick boxing, Budo Tijitsu, and a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. A Master Electrician by trade, Jack utilizes his contruction skills as a Branch Chief with the United States Government managing International construction projects.   

Ryan McCamley

Ryan McCamleyRyan is a certified Phase B instructor with Krav Maga Maryland and a certified Series I Law Enforcement Instructor under the Force Training Division.  As a police officer Ryan was drawn to the Krav Maga system because of its simplicity and effectivness.

In addition to his self-defense training Ryan enjoys training for triathalons and has competed in several events over the past three years.  Ryan can be seen annually at the Muddy Buddy Ride and Run - a partner adventure race that ends with all competitors climbing through a gigantic mud pit. 

Ryan holds a Bacheleor's degree in Economics from St. Mary's College of Maryland.  Originally from Huntingtown, Maryland, Ryan currently resides in Annapolis, Maryland.

Todd Kaltenborn

Prior to Krav Maga, Todd trained for seven years in Minna Jiu-Jitsu.  He was drawn to Krav Maga after attending his very first class by Krav Maga's simplicity, its logical approach to self-defense, and real-world effectiveness.  A self-professed "Krav addict", he can sometimes be seen throwing 360 defenses in his sleep.  He completed Phase A instructor certification in October of 2008.  In April of 2009, Todd also completed Series 1 and 4 Force Training certifications, certifying him to instruct law enforcement and military-specific techniques. 

Todd has dedicated the last 14 years of his life to serving with the United States Navy, as a network engineer and computer security expert.  He is currently pursuing a degree in Investigative Forensics with the University of Maryland.  Originally from Ravenna, Ohio, Todd has traveled extensively and lived all over the world.  He currently resides at Ft. Meade, Maryland. 

Connie Morreale - Fitness Director

Connie MorrealeConnie started her career in the fitness industry 20 years ago as an aerobic instructor.  In 1996 became she became an ACE certified personal trainer where she received special recognition in the area of nutrition.   More recently, Connie has become a Crossfit Level I instructor with a goal of continuing her education by seeking a Level II certification. 

Connie holds a B.A. in dance from UNLV.  She has worked with clients ranging in age 10 to 76, and with beginners as well as seasoned athletes.  She also has experience dealing with health challenges such as sports injuries, diabetes, fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis.  Connie can help you meet your fitness goals, whether you are just a beginner and need guidance, an athlete wanting to hone your skills, or simply a time-crunched exerciser looking for how to get the most out of every moment spent pursuing fitness.  For more information or to set up personal training sessions, contact Connie directly at 443-878-6077.
