Our 8-hour renewal course meets the Maryland State Police requirement to renew your Wear & Carry Permit. Taught by certified, real-world instructors, this training reinforces your legal knowledge, firearm handling, and defensive tactics—ensuring you stay confident, competent, and compliant.
Course Includes:
• Legal updates and Maryland use-of-force laws
• Firearm safety and responsible carry protocols
• Defensive mindset and situational awareness
• Live-fire qualification required for renewal
Important:
You should begin the renewal process at least 90 days before your current permit expires. If your permit lapses, you’ll be required to complete the full 16-hour initial course again.
